Kamwe- Never
Friday, 28 February 2003
Dear Amare-Amuri,
Know this never ever, ever disrespect a person
By insulting them or belittling them and their character
It is wrong and causes embarrassment and hurt for both of you
Just because others do it
Does not mean you should do it
Be different and wiser than that
When others speak insult and belittle
Promote and bless those, they are casting doom and gloom upon
It shows you have good will towards that individual
And they will be thankful for the positive boost of encouragement!
And always remember to mind your own business
Never ask personal questions of anyone at all
Because it is rude, and they will be obliged to ask you the same
Be respectful of others privacy and dignity and space
Live a quiet life
Live a private life
Do not push to be in the spotlight
Do not push to be in the limelight
Just live your own life
Away from technology
And the Internet
You will be much happier
And invested in your own life!
And won’t be comparing yourself
To someone else
Who is facing their own struggles
Even with a title.
Make your words be as few as possible
Never say more than is necessary
Speak as much as is required for what you need to say
And politely shut up
Do not run your mouth
LIke a water fountain
It will push others away
And make them not trust you
At all.
When in doubt about an issue
Pray twenty-nine days about it privately
Then read a Scripture
Then pray some more
Then go seek counseling.
End each session of prayer with God
With a word of joy and thanksgiving for another day
Spent serving and worshiping and walking with Him
In whatever faith you choose
I leave that up to you.
All my love,
Mama
