Baadhi- Some

Dear Amare-Amuri,
Be careful who you open up to
Some people carry your words
Like the wind
To another’s ears
Without your knowledge
Guard your tongue!
Always ask yourself before speaking
Will my words cause negative reaction?
Will my words be in reaction to a learned behavior?
Will my words bring joy?
How can I say my words in a no-conflict and compassionate way?
And remember to smile and pray
That whatever you say
Be led by God or
Whatever faith you believe in.
Do not worry about anything related to others
It will take care of itself
Remember to focus on you
And your journey
And your committment to excellence
And giving your best
And being your best, unique self
Every day
Have no regrets over what has happened in the past
Those that have regrets are those that have unfinished business
Work it out with God and the other person
Before it becomes a guilt laden
Worrying, and sleeping depriving issue
In time others will see the good in you
Remember out of your heart
Flows the abundance of life
So do one good deed each day
Without seeking recognition
Or acknowledgement
Or accolades.
All my love,
Mama
